New Home School Program Offered!

The Birmingham Museum of Art is offering a new program to 1st grade through high school home school students. Students explore the Museum galleries during a docent-led tour and then assemble in the Museum Studios for a hands-on activity based on the objects viewed on tour.

Student tickets are $6. “Icons of our Nation” docent-led tours are available for Grades 2 – 12 at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 Tuesday through Friday. The tours are limited to 100 students but larger groups can be accommodated by pairing this tour with a Collection Connection tour. During November and December, the Museum will offer docent-led tours of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for your students beginning at 9am. Experience the rich heritage of our nation through close examination and guided dialogue with trained docents. To schedule a visit, call Group Sales at 205.251.3746. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER APRIL 2ND NO EXCEPTIONS.

Attention all Covenant Academy Students
Hello Parents,
For your information: The state has passed a law into effect now that states the drop out age is raised to 17. All students age 7-17 must be enrolled in school. Any student dropping out before graduating or obtaining a GED will have their drivers license pulled till after age nineteen.

Criteria: Perform one service project per month to help those other than family without pay or remuneration

Parents of High School Parents ! 
Do you want your student to get a feel for college but not comfortable with them being in a college class room with older students. Covenant Academy Students now have the opportunity to take online duel enrollment for high school and college credit through Troy State University. For more information please contact the school.
